MagNA Pure 24 Piercing Tools are consumables that are used to pierce sealed reagent cassettes in order to enable reagent pipetting, to minimize handling of the reagent cassette, and to prevent contamination. In addition, the MagNA Pure 24 Instrument uses the piercing tool as a surveillance feature for checking pipetter nozzle tightness. Piercing tools are also supplied with MagNA Pure 24 Tip Park - Piercing Tool.
