Monarch Buffer BZ is included in Monarch Nucleic Acid Purification Kits, and also offered as a standalone buffer for convenience. This buffer is designed for use with multiple kits and workflows to provide maximum value and flexibility. Refer to the appropriate guidance of the corresponding kit for instructions on preparing the buffer for use in a specific workflow. In plasmid miniprep applications, it is used as the first wash buffer to remove contaminants such as cellular components. For DNA cleanup applications, it is utilized to dilute DNA samples and facilitate binding to the Monarch spin columns.
