This guard column contains the C 4 column material and is used to protect all Metrosep cation columns. Particles and contaminants are reliably retained, which means that the working life of the analytical column is considerably extended. The low price is an additional point in its favor. The Metrosep C 4 Guard/4.0 also functions according to the «On Column Guard System and is attached directly to the analytical column with virtually no dead volume.
