The PrimeStore® MTM 250 mL bulk bottle contains Molecular Transport Medium (MTM), a proprietary solution designed for pathogen inactivation and the stabilization of RNA and DNA. This bulk format is ideal for high-throughput environments, custom kit assembly, and laboratory workflows requiring flexible aliquoting. Engineered for ambient-temperature sample transport, PrimeStore® MTM inactivates infectious agents at the point-of-collection, preserving nucleic acids for downstream molecular applications without the need for cold chain logistics.

PrimeStore® MTM is compatible with a broad range of molecular testing workflows, including RT-PCR, qPCR, digital PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS). It supports both manual and automated nucleic acid extraction platforms and has been validated with commercial and laboratory-developed tests (LDTs). Note: Laboratory validation is recommended to ensure compatibility with specific assays and instrumentation. For a list of validated extraction chemistries, refer to the PrimeStore® MTM Instructions for Use (IFU).

Intended Use:

PrimeStore® MTM is intended for inactivation of infectious samples and stabilization and transportation of microbial RNA and DNA.

Nucleic Acid Preservation:

Stabilizes and preserves RNA, DNA and mRNA

Processing Requirements:

With rapid inactivation, samples are safe for extraction after 30 minutes of collection and can be processed on the benchtop.
