Product Description

Whatman HEPA-CAP 36, inlet 3/8" FNPT, outlet 3/8" FNPT, 5/pk

Used across scientific, research, and industrial environments in a variety of air and gas filtration applications that require high particle retention and the ability to capture dirt and debris at high flow rates.

Inline filter capsules are particularly suitable for sterile venting of fermenters or reaction vessels to prevent airborne particles from entering or exiting the vessel.

Well suited for tissue culture, inline filtration, and prefiltration for suction or to serve gas inline filters.

Strengthened by dual lamination with a tough polyester monofilament.

Filters are pleated to maximize surface area for high particle retention and high flow rate

Typical retention efficiency: 99.97% of all particles = 0.3 µm in air

Depth filter design: allows for high loading capacity and bidirectional flow

Repeatedly autoclavable: at 121°C for 20 minutes (132°C max)

Whatman HEPACAP Vent Filters are highretention and high flowrate glass fiber filters that are commonly used in both research and industry to remove particulates from air and gases.
