Ice-Free Cooling Workstation systems are bench top modules that provide sample cooling or freezing without ice, electricity or batteries. Ice-Free Cooling Workstation systems are versatile and accommodate a variety of sample formats and temperatures. The modular design enables the use of Thermoconductive Rack and Sink  sample modules to hold microfuge tubes, cryogenic vials, PCR tubes or plates, assay plates and more.

Key Features:

Secure Sample Preparation:

• Operates without ice, batteries or electricity
• Keeps samples at a uniform 0.5 to 4.0°C for up to 4 hours
• The built-in 1-8ºC temperature indicator provides visual assurance of operational temperature while working

Broad Compatibility:

• Versatile: accommodates most Thermoconductive Rack and Sink modules
• Low profile and small footprint ideal for use in the hood especially in keeping temperature sensitive solutions cold
• To extend the cooling duration, keep an additional Cooling Core in the freezer and replace the core as needed

How it Works: Ease of Use:

• Freeze the Cooling Core in -20°C freezer
• Place frozen core in base
• Rest Thermoconductive Rack or Sink module on core
• Module will equilibrate and maintain temperature via thermo-conductivity
• To extend the cooling duration, keep an additional Cooling Core in the freezer and replace the core as needed
