The dimensions of these plates are designed to achieve optimized assay conditions on the Roche LightCycler® 480, and are in a 384 well format for reaction volumes of up to 30µl. The rigid two-component design eliminates warping and distortion during the PCR process, making it ideal for use with robotic systems.
