Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) syringe filter options
Cytiva's Puradisc PTFE syringe filter is a hydrophobic membrane that is chemically stable and inert. It exhibits low protein binding, and its main application is filtration of nonaqueous samples. Prior to filtering of aqueous samples, the membrane must be prewetted with a watermiscible organic solvent.
