IRON PINT STAIN KIT /Ea

Stains ferric iron in under 30 minutes. This kit is suitable in lieu of and comparable to the Perl’s Technique and Gomori’s Iron Reaction for staining ferric iron. The MasterTech Iron Stain is less hazardous than these procedures and provides more precise results by using lower strength Hydrochloric Acid and Potassium Ferrocyanide. A Working Prussian Blue Solution serves as the primary stain, producing blue ferric iron against a pink to red background with red nuclei, counterstained by Nuclear Fast Red. There is no filtration required when using MasterTech Nuclear Fast Red. 100ml Stain Kit yields between 80 and 100 slides. Pint Stain Kit yields between 320-500 slides. Liter Stain Kit yields between 680-1000 slides. Gallon Stain Kit yields between 2800-3800 slides. Slide Yields assume maximum slides stained per run, maximum runs per use. Actual Slide Yields may vary.

Pint Kit Consists of: 3% Potassium Ferrocyanide 2 pints, 3% Hydrochloric Acid 2 pints, and Nuclear Fast Red Stain pint.

Liter Kit Consists of: 3% Potassium Ferrocyanide 2 liters, 3% Hydrochloric Acid 2 liters, and Nuclear Fast Red Stain liter.

Gallon Kit Consists of: 3% Potassium Ferrocyanide 2 gallons, 3% Hydrochloric Acid 2 gallons, and Nuclear Fast Red Stain gallon.

All kit components are available for purchase individually. Both kits are sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance. All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15º C and 30º C. Please review all component labels to ensure correct storage temperature.
